Charlie Cardholders: Cash out your Charlie Card stored value!
BRTA is Fare Free through June 2027, so you won’t need to use your Charlie Card stored value.
This Wednesday, September the 30th 2026, will be our last day for the Charlie Card buy back. Come in between 2pm – 4pm for your last chance to cash in your old Charlie Cards.

Please note:
- Expired Cards will not be refunded.
- Any unreadable card must be sent to MBTA as we would be unable determine the value on the card.
- Passes will not be refunded.
