Charlie Cardholders: Cash out your Charlie Card stored value!
BRTA is Fare Free through June 2027, so you won’t need to use your Charlie Card stored value.
Bring your Charlie Card to the main lobby at the BRTA Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) located at 1 Columbus Avenue in Pittsfield, MA every Wednesday from 2pm – 4pm. Cash out your unused Charlie Card stored value, get your money back, and we will recycle the plastic. Win win!
BRTA is buying back your Charlie Cards
Please note:
- Expired Cards will not be refunded.
- Any unreadable card must be sent to MBTA as we would be unable determine the value on the card.
- Passes will not be refunded.
